Playoff football is here in the Midwest and we checked in on some of the top prospects in the region as they lead their teams in single elimination time this weekend.

Kyle Prater - WR - Proviso West (Ill.)

Midwest Ranking: #3
Result: 46-0 win over Chicago Taft
Prater finished with two receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown on two carries as West rolled.

William Gholston - LB - Detroit Southeastern (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #6
Result: 41-0 win over Westland John Glenn
Gholston lead a defense which shutdown John Glenn's vaunted rushing attack and held star running back Jeremy Langford, the state's leading rusher, to 33 yards.

Devin Gardner - QB - Inkster (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #7
Result: 51-19 win over Dearborn Edsel Ford
The Vikings took down 8-1 Edsel Ford behind four total touchdowns from Gardner. He finished 4/7 passing for 50 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 110 yards on six carries, including a 70-yard touchdown run.

Roderick Smith - RB - Fort Wayne Harding (Ind.)

Midwest Ranking: #8
Result: 21-14 loss to Eastbrook
Smith rushed for 83 yards on 25 carries as Harding lost a 14-0 halftime lead.

C.J. Fiedorowicz - TE - Johnsburg (Ill.)

Midwest Ranking: #10
Result: 6-0 win over Harvard
Fiedorowicz caught two passes for 41 yards andthe game's lone touchdown.

Austin White - RB - Livonia Stevenson (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #19
Result: 21-7 win over Northville
White rushed for 117 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown.

C.J. Olaniyan - DE - Warren Mott (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #21
Result: 35-21 win over Troy
Olaniyan, who also plays tight end, had an 89-yard touchdown catch.

Ricardo Miller - WR - Ann Arbor Pioneer (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #23
Result: 28-7 win over Temperance Bedford
Miller had five receptions for 70 yards and a 22-yard touchdown.

Dior Mathis - CB - Detroit Cass Tech (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #25
Result: 24-23 win over Dearborn Fordson
Mathis made a key play in the Technicians' upset win with an 80-yard touchdown reception.

Dyjuan Lewis - WR - Indianapolis Pike (Ind.)

Midwest Ranking: #28
Result: 10-7 loss to Avon
Lewis had the Red Devils' lone score, an 11-yard touchdown reception.

Matt Milton - WR - Mascoutah (Ill.)

Result: 57-32 loss to Rochester
Had 199 yards rushing and two touchdowns and also returned a kickoff 90-yards for a touchdown

Tony Lippett - WR - Detroit Crockett (Mich.)

Result: 12-0 win over Detroit Crockett
Lippett, who plays quarterback for Crockett, rushed 12 times for 21 yards and completed 6/17 passes for 90 yards

Nick Hill - RB - Chelsea (Mich.)

Result: 24-21 win over Carleton Airport
Hill had an outstanding game, rushing for 254 yards and three touchdowns on 36 carries.

Sean Robinson - QB - Rochester (Ill.)

Midwest Ranking: #66
Result: 57-32 win over Mascoutah
Went 10/12 for 174 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 91 yards on 13 carries.

Tony Jones - WR - Grand Blanc (Mich.)

Midwest Ranking: #69
Result: 35-21 loss to Romeo
Jones and the Bobcats fell, but he did his part, catching 17 passes for 184 yards.
