08 Profile: OT Nathaniel Justice

Detroit Crockett has produced a number of talented prospects over the last few seasons. This year is no different as the Rockets have as many as five Division 1 propsects. Today, we introduce you to one of their big guys up front, Nathaniel Justice.

Recently, we introduced you to Donald Mathis, the top center in the state of Michigan. Mathis is not the only talented line prospect on Detroit Crockett's roster though, his linemate Nathaniel Justice is a talented prospect in his own right who is also a hot recruiting target.

"Eastern Michigan contacts me the most," Justice said, as for offers, he replied "not yet."

Justice played right tackle for Crockett. He is a powerful run blocker who plays with a mean streak. With that run blocking ability and his big 6-5, 318-lb frame, the right side is likely the spot he will remain at in college.

Having only played three years of football, all three on the varsity, Justice is still learning the game but has tremendous upside. A big help in adjusting to the sport is being able to go up against a talented college prospect every day in practice in defensive end Shelton Gaines.

"Shelton is strong and quick," Justice said of his pass rushing teammate, "going up against him really helps me move my feet."

Justice reports an 18-inch vertical 255-lb bench press and a 425-lb squat.
