Brendon Kay Granted 6th Year.

The NCAA has granted senior quarterback Brendon Kay a 6th year of eligibility.

The University of Cincinnati has announced that senior quarterback Brendon Kay has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA and will be allowed to suit up for the Bearcats next season.

Kay's first four years at Cincinnati were wrecked by a multitude of injuries, and now the senior from Michigan will finally get his chance to lead a team as the starting quarterback for an entire season.

In 10 appearances for the Bearcats, including four starts, Kay compiled 966 passing yards to go along with six touchdowns and two interceptions. While not set in stone, Kay is expected to be UC's starting quarterback for the 2013 season.
